Four-body problem

So, I haven't done any blog posts, and the blog era is like... maybe one generation behind. On the contrary, I have been watching so much cinema and talk about it that I could have filled lots of podcast episodes. For now, though, I will stick to blogging. It doesn't matter because noone was reading this blog back in the days either. 😆 I, like most people following the trends, recently came across the ' 3 Body Problem ' 2024 NETFLIX series. To be honest, I didn't watch it immediatelly. Instead, I went for something more original, and that is the 'Three-body' Chinese 2022 version. I ended up watching both, being a bit behind on the Chinese one, since it has aired more episodes. I am now in the 18th episode, while having watched all of the NETFLIX version, and already have so much to say. First of all, the Chinese version is way milder than the American. There is no blood! Echoes of life at ...98

As I move fast into the third decade of my life, I find myself drawn to the beauty of realism and eager to learn about artists and film-makers that are not served on a plate to me. And so, recently, I came across a Greek film-maker, named Evripidis Karydis , that made me go back to my old moving-picture love with a whole new perspective. There is something in capturing actual parts of our lives and putting them together, that is beyond doubt the most honest and relatable thing that can exist, and at the same time the most hard for me to find today. Even though the actual events may have happened in a specific, objectively well-defined chronological order, that is not how humans remember them. Who killed the cinema

It's been a while since my last conf... post. And I have a confession to make. I went to the cinema! Yes, I did. IN a mall. To watch one of those corny-named twilight saga movies, the Eclipe. Even now I can't think of anything to say about the movie. It just slipped through my receptive organs and out of my head very quickly. But I do remember liking the atmosphere in there. In fact I liked it a lot. One of the things that my town is known for is its audience. People respect each other - apart from a whooping cough that is sometimes spreading just after a play or movie starts. Other than that, no cellphones, no conversations, all nice and quiet. Now add to that the feature of playful comments and sounds that are aroused when the movie gets... playful. For example, there was this scene where werewolf-Jacob appears topless... Obviously there were mild expressions of appreciation that amused me so much I didn't even notice Edward's line "Doesn't he own a shirt?...
